Returns Policy
This page sets out how to return Morgan Hope products bought from the online Store, and the terms that apply to bespoke or project orders.
Stocked Store items — 14-day cooling-off
If you've bought a stocked item from the Store and changed your mind, you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to notify us and return them at your cost. Goods must be:
- Unused, in original packaging and resaleable condition.
- Accompanied by the original invoice or order reference.
- Returned to our Southport facility (address provided on RMA approval).
We refund the value of the goods to the original payment method within 14 days of receipt and inspection. Outbound shipping is non-refundable on cooling-off returns.
Faulty or damaged on arrival
- Visible damage must be reported on the courier's docket at point of delivery, and to Morgan Hope within 48 hours.
- Faulty on first use within 30 days of delivery — we replace or refund at our discretion and arrange free collection.
- Faulty after 30 days — covered under the product warranty (typically 5 years on LED luminaires, 7 years on selected industrial ranges). We test and repair or replace under warranty.
Please do not return faulty goods without first contacting us — unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
Bespoke and project orders
Products made to specific customer specification (bespoke gear-trays, custom PCBs, project luminaires) are non-returnable except where defective. This is a normal industry term for made-to-order goods and is set out in our project quotations.
Defective bespoke products are covered by the same warranty as stocked items and we'll arrange repair or replacement under the warranty terms.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
How to start a return
Email info@morganhope.com with your order reference and the reason for return. We'll respond with an RMA number, the return address, and where applicable, instructions for collection. Returns sent without an RMA may be delayed or refused.
Warranty claims
For warranty claims please use the same address with a description of the fault, the date and place of installation, and a photograph if possible. Our technical team will respond within two working days.
